Born and brought up in New Delhi, India, I moved to Germany to pursue my doctoral degree in chemistry at Universität Leipzig. This life-changing decision came about due to my inherent inquisitiveness, adaptability to change and positive mindset. With my background in scientific research and an innate ability to work on complex problems, I am always driven to collaborate on deciphering problems through rational thinking and teamwork. Due to my experiences in leadership positions, I feel confident in taking up such roles and embodying them with empathy and dedication. I am motivated and take delight in working on multifaceted projects which helped me to overcome the challenges of the PhD process. Since my formative years, I have been honing my public speaking skills by continuously presenting my ideas and results to various diverse audiences. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading the news and playing immersive storytelling videogames.
