I’ve worked in the design and printing industry for over 25 years. Currently, I design and layout various publications and catalogs. I also preflight and troubleshoot print files from clients.I am an artist at heart, but graphic design is in my veins. I studied graphic design at The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, I started as a freelance designer and became a full-time hire after two years. I worked with a team of four designers. I quickly learned to do my best to prioritize multiple accounts and meet client deadlines. I focused on producing quality designs for clients and cultivating trust that brought those same clients back for repeat business. I was promoted to senior art director within seven years, where I learned to oversee and train others and collaborate and share feedback, ultimately benefitting workplace morale.I enjoy what I do. I like to revisit the same design and see room for improvement. I believe in checking twice and never skipping a spell check. I consider myself to be a second set of eyes when proofing. Whether it’s a presentation, catalog, invitation, e-mail template, or simple flyer, I bring a cordial and engaging attitude to any job, even amid challenging design problems and client requests. At the end of the day, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 cats. My hobbies include watching meaningful TV shows and movies, listening to music, crafting, finding inspiration in nature, and solving puzzles.
