Competence Area Manager
At itm8|AddPro I founded and led Management Consulting, one of five competence areas within AddPro, aiming to create competitiveness for our customers through a mix of management consulting and project management and by collaborating with the other four competence areas. Before I started at AddPro, there was no such function, but just before I quit we were seven management consultants, who were busy helping our customers with compliance, digital transformation and organisational change management. This journey has been an exciting learning experience for both AddPro and myself. I use a lot of visual thinking in my work, as I have found that this makes complex matters easier to grasp and discuss.In November 2023 it was announced that AddPro will be merged into the brand of our Danish mother company itm8 together with 12 other companies.

Example of assignments: create a digital strategy for an energy company, conduct a spend analysis and create a procurement road map for a public housing company, coordinate the global roll-out of digital sales tools for a global retail company and improve a framework for measuring organisations' digital maturity.
Project Manager
My initial assignment as Project Manager at the IT department of Vellinge municipality was to procurate and roll out Vellinge's new e-service platform. Introducing digital services (e-services) does not only mean that the citizens get a smoother way of handling their errands with the municipality, it does also mean that the internal processes within the municipality need to be reviewed, improved and made more efficient where possible.I also led a project aiming to optimise the printing machine park in the entire municipality, centralise agreements and introducing printing as an IT service offer to the business. Another project I was managing aimed to roll out Office365 to all the schools in the municipality.Beside managing specific projects I also coordinated, supported and followed up on several minor projects and initiatives that the IT department was driving, for example introduction of new IT systems and IT infrastructure upgrades. The IT department was small and we who worked there needed to be generalists to cover everything.
Communications Officer
By accepting a temporary assignment (during another person's maternity leave) I got the opportunity to work at Vellinge municipality's Communication department. I was webmaster for Vellinge municipality's web site and intranet. I ordered and coordinated improvements performed by a contracted web development firm. I also analysed and optimised the sites using a tool called SiteSeeker as well as provided education and support to web editors.During this period I was also project manager for a couple of projects, one within the educational organisation, one connected to GIS (Geographic Information System) and one connected to introduction of a new reporting system. These projects made me realise how much I enjoy making people from different backgrounds and departments to work together towards a common goal.
