In my role as a Field Based Trainer I provide the Sysmex customer base with application support, through detailed training sessions within the customers’ laboratory. I am well organised, out-going and maintain a customer focus to ensure that the training delivered is of the highest standard. My role also involves keeping accurate records of all training delivered as well as producing and maintaining training material used to deliver onsite training sessions. As a member of the Training Academy team I am always looking for ways to continually improve the onsite training delivered to our customer base.

As a multidisciplinary scientist working for Pathology Queensland I have developed a broad range of skills and scientific knowledge in the following areas; specimen reception, hematology and coagulation, biochemistry, transfusion and microbiology. My duties included but were not limited to;• Daily maintenance and quality control of analyzers• Performing troubleshooting on analyzers• Review and authorization of results• Analyzers used include Sysmes XS-1000i, Sysmex XE-2100, Sysmex CA-550, STAR, Beckman DXC, Beckman CX5, Beckman Access, iSTAT and Bayer Blood gas machine.
