I was a runaway at 15. Shortly after, a therapist told me the odds were stacked — that my trauma would land me in prison, on drugs or pregnant. I let that spite fuel me and I spent the next decade working in Title I Schools and adult workforce programs, teaching and telling stories of people who were doing everything they could to also beat the odds, or sometimes find a fresh start after losing. In 2018 I set out to make an impact on my own, and launched my first business. Since then my projects have focused on building connection, deepening culture, and expanding digital reach. I work closely with global brands on a variety of causes using operations and strategic planning to optimize their business to scale. Aside from entrepreneurship, I am an avid local volunteer, and a home chef (with a deep love for fresh bread), and I'm working on my first novel.
