As a program consultant, I act as a local representative and provide local support to a research and advocacy initiative focusing on toxic floodwaters in the Delaware River Basin. My main responsibility is to connect with Philadelphia allies to understand and inform the political strategy of advancing legislation to protect socially vulnerable communities from flood-induced chemical spills. I am also conducting desk research in support of a spatial mapping tool using public datasets and GIS tools. Additionally, I provide program support to related activities within the Center for Progressive Reform climate justice program.
