As the HR Generalist, I work closely with Business Unit Leaders and managers on HR principles, company policy, labor relations and other HR functions to ensure compliance while driving internal success. I engage with managers on retention, hiring needs, recognition, employee development and training. I regularly interface with all levels of the organization to support our strategic business plan, drive our yearly initiatives for continuous improvement and work on special projects at the request of the management team. In this role, I conduct employee training, round table discussions, benefits administration and employee engagement surveys. I work very closely with the Director of HR to improve the department and overall organization. In addition to Generalist responsibilities, I continue to work closely with our Corporate Applus+ team to support ongoing internal changes and the transition of our 2015 acquisition, in effort to integrate X-ray Industries into the Applus+ culture and align our policies.

Researched and presented ATS options to executive team; negotiated and implemented the applicant tracking software, Taleo . Transitioned to iCIMS this year to align with our parent company, Applus+ and engaged with managers to train them on the new recruitment/on boarding process.

As the Corporate Recruiter at Guardian Alarm, I was responsible for the full cycle recruitment process for the Alarm and Medical Monitoring Divisions, which operate in locations throughout the United States and Canada. The majority of the positions I had responsibility for are related to sales, service, support and management roles. My goal was to build a solid pipeline of candidates and streamline the recruitment process to ensure I always present “top notch” candidates to hiring managers.
