My job responsibilities include basic stocking and register work. Requirements also include excellent customer service skills, like creating a comfortable and relaxing shopping experience for the customer. I do my best to anticipate customer needs such as if I see they are buying multiple bottles of wine to ask if they need an empty box or a carry-out to their car. I also lead product teams in certain sections of the store, meaning I must organize a team and delegate duties while following up on my teams progress. I also do administrative work on occasion including answering phone calls, addressing customer requests and issues, and various paperwork.

As a receptionist, I was responsible for book keeping, scheduling client’s appointments with the several stylists working in the salon. I also acted as an assistant to the owner which included tasks such as, getting a client’s color history ready in advance and ensuring the client has their next appointment booked before they leave. At the front desk I was responsible for the mood and atmosphere for the stylists and the clients. Other tasks included light cleaning, organizing, and keeping computer records.
