Responsible for managing all operational aspects of the chapters (Arizona, New Mexico, Rocky Mountain, Utah & Southern Nevada). Provide leadership for a variety of strategies designed to create cost effective and on-going sources of volunteer development, community presence, and mission enhancement for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society within the chapters' chartered areas. Assume responsibility for Chapter management in all operational areas in the absence of the Executive Director (s). Develop, implement, and ensure that the chapters have the appropriate operational policies, controls and staffing systems in place to effectively grow the chapters and ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.Manage and direct all staff responsible for all chapter operations functions, to include financial management, office management, information technology and volunteer development.Take a leadership role in sourcing, screening and presenting candidates for key chapter positions. Assume interim responsibility for staffing voids as required. Oversee the coordination of training and orientation of new staff.Responsible for analyzing, in conjunction with national IT department, the chapter’s IT infrastructure and identifying related technology issues/needs.
