- Purchase inventory items of assigned suppliers to ensure target service level metrics, turns, and spoilage are achieved.- Maintain ERP and purchasing system with accurate forecasts, demand, and lead time- Review daily potential out of stocks and take appropriate action for quick recovery- Monitor inventory levels - Follow through on all open orders for status to ensure on-time delivery and expedite as needed- Utilize report systems to analyze results and identify opportunities for increased sales and profit

- Purchase raw materials for production- Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and pricing- Forward purchase orders to suppliers and receive confirmation- Monitoring and expediting all purchase orders- Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents- Vendor relationships- Work with suppliers and production to ensure goals and orders are aligned- Research, analyze and evaluate vendors to determine best needs for the company based on price, quality, delivery and numerous other factors- Request quotes (RFQs), negotiate pricing- Data entry (Shipping and receiving)- Weekly reports (Excel spreadsheets, data analysis, inventory management and flow)- Warehouse (Receiving incoming shipments from suppliers, maintaining a database, shipping products domestically and internationally, monitoring stock levels)- Use of NetSuite ERP system and database- Ensuring lead times will meet forecasted needs
