•Charge Nurse - Organize daily staffing in the PICU. Ensure proper resources are in place. Communicate regularly with the Nursing Supervisor. Teach Fundamentals of Pediatric Nursing Theory and Practice to students in the university’s BSN Program. Instruct classes of 8-12 students. Create lesson plans and teaching case studies. Emphasize nursing fundamentals, as well as clinical and technical skills. Apply theory into practice. Adapt teaching methods to best relate to students and keep them engaged.
