Collaborated with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales; analyzed market trends, customer behavior, and new technologies to identify the best opportunities for sales.

Planned and directed Lucent's Y2K response. Designed and implemented Avaya's comprehensive Y2K business continuity and disaster recovery plans which became the model for business continuity and disaster recovery plans in use today. Created a 50-seat Y2K Customer Care call center to handle customer concerns and issues regarding Y2K compliance upgrades including data conversions and processing/programming customizations.

Identified business barriers to success and recommended solutions to meet strategic business, financial and growth objectives while improving operational effectiveness and efficiency. Aligned processes, practices, measurement instruments, tools, and supporting infrastructure with business objectives. Worked to establish a culture where employees were expected to make the right decision rather than the most expeditious one.
