As a passionate geoscientist with 10 years in mineral exploration, my drive is fuelled by finding creative and effective solutions to the complex, multidimensional problems in mineral exploration.I thrive in a multifaceted role at ALS GoldSpot Discoveries Ltd. In my managerial capacity, I lead a team of 15 skilled and diverse geoscientists, fostering a team-oriented environment with a strong focus on innovation and steering collaborative efforts, dedicated to advancing our clients in the mining industry and their mineral discovery.On the technical front, I specialize in geochemistry, employing advanced multivariate statistical analysis and machine learning to assess mineral potential, constrain alteration processes, and characterize lithogeochemical controls. As part of a dynamic team, I’m actively engaging with and contributing to other domains, including structural geology, 3d modelling, geophysics, and spectral geology, aiming to deliver a unified and efficient workflow to our clients. I value collaborative approach to problem-solving and project success by communicating with clients to ensure that our solutions align with their needs.Through my consultation experience, I had the opportunity to work on various mineral systems (orogenic, porphyry, hydrothermal, volcanogenic massive sulphides, magmatic) in North and South America. I also impart my knowledge and expertise by conducting short courses on exploratory geochemical data analysis, from data vetting to unsupervised learning techniques.I led my team to second place in the Integra Gold Rush Challenge, where we used machine learning to identify potential exploration targets for the Sigma-Lamaque property. This success was a key inspiration behind the founding of GoldSpot Discoveries, a company committed to pioneering innovative methods in mineral exploration.
