Responsible for research, modeling, analytics, prototype, design, development, and execution leadership to solve data science and engineering problems for eCommerce, Ad Tech and Marketing Insights divisions. Projects include - ● Maintaining, enhancing data methodologies pipeline, and models supporting Insights product of Hitwise (Audience View, Competitive Intelligence).● Proposed, prototyped, and delivered data science solutions for supporting client-tailored custom digital insights and marketing reports. Typically using R, Hive, Snowflake, Tableau, Scala.● Built scalable, high-performance platform for audience modeling, building, and expansion for thousands of ad campaigns. Tech stack: Spark, Scala, Spark ML, Hive, Postgres, Redis, Python.● Built real-time data streaming and enrichment platform (using Apache Kafka, Storm, Protocol buffers, Redis, HBase) for Connexity's Ad platform. ● Re-built retail inventory and query classification using Apache Mahout and Hive - for US and International markets serving 200Million+ products.

Responsible for hands-on leadership of the team of engineers in planning, design, development, and delivery of core search engine features. Headed overall functional and data architecture of search ecosystem from its efficiency, quality, evolution, and scaling standpoint. Collaborated closely with the product team to define, propose efficient and scalable solutions to business problems. Performed successful recruiting, mentoring, and energizing team members. Responsible for designing and developing core search and index engine features using C/C++, Shell and Python as a senior member of the search team. Projects include - ● Context-based spell correction engine● Query composition, decomposition algorithms● Long term scaling of search indexing and retrieval engines

Worked extensively on varied projects to evolve Shopzilla’s Search and Index engine from its infancy to a scalable production quality search technology ( C/C++ ). Rewrote Shopzilla's product index engine.

Research in secure group communication.● R&D, and Implementation (IRIX 6.5, C++, Multithreading) of dynamic conference scheme for Secured Group Communication (SGC) over data networks.● Operating and maintaining Access Grid (a project to support human multimedia interaction across the grid) node at UNL, for conducting global group meetings.● Development, analysis of BF Group Diffie-Hellman key agreement protocol for SGC.● Research of hierarchical access control in multicast network security. Implementation of traffic monitoring tool.
