My goal is to pursue the analysis of language and connect with others through learning programming languages and software development.My love for languages led me to study many languages in high school and college, to a masters in Language Education, then teaching French. Programming is the next step in pursuing my passions for learning, language and communication. I first discovered programming when one day my laptop stopped working and I decided to upgrade. I ended up deciding to build my own computer and I loved the process so much I kept looking into what else I could do with my new computer. I learned how to mod my favorite game, Stardew Valley, and that was when I realized programming IS language and continuous learning, and I loved it. It allows me to blend my background in language analysis with teamwork and creative problem-solving. Every challenge I face in programming can be an even more rewarding experience when shared. Working with someone allows me to either understand a new perspective to problem solving or to understand those perspectives through sharing and discussing projects that I’m building.I'm now a full-stack software developer at TCS Software where I have endless learning opportunities and I'm just beginning my path to becoming a senior software developer. Some of my most fun recent projects have been leading our cloud migration and writing custom dues software for clients.I'm also looking to attend tech meetups in the Columbus area to continue learning about programming and meet other software developers.
