I am a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant and Nonprofit Professional. I love tackling great challenges with innovative solutions. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and experience among industry leaders for collective benefit and maximizing impact. I have experience leading teams, public speaking, business management, and in strategical solutions for animal welfare. I present in day camps and schools (pre-k through 12) on compassionate care and responsible dog ownership, as well as to businesses for staff training on appropriately handling service dog interactions that jointly encompass the rights of the business and the rights of persons with disabilities.My most exciting venture is with my program Operation Sidekick in training and providing rescued service/assistance dogs to veterans battling PTSD. Solving one of the most misunderstood mental health illnesses with one of the most misunderstood breed classes of dogs is the fuel to my engine. My professional life is primarily dedicated to providing education for a safer, more enjoyable relationship with family pets, reducing unnecessary euthanasia, helping owners in need so that families stay together, re-aligning the image of Pit Bull type dogs, and helping the veteran suicide rate fall. I have two "career hobbies" in occasionally exploring an entrepreneurial adventure or two, and in staff training and team efficiency consulting for the veterinary field and the restaurant industry.
