Studying for the MA in Welsh and Celtic Studies bilingually, I developed my knowledge and understanding of minority languages in the Welsh context, as well as further refining my skills of research, analysis and communication. Wrth astudio ar gyfer MA mewn Astudiaethau Cymreig a Cheltaidd yn ddwyieithog, datblygais fy ngwybodaeth a’m dealltwriaeth o ieithoedd lleiafrifol yng nghyd-destun Cymreig a Chymraeg, yn ogystal â meithrin fy sgiliau ymchwilio, dadansoddi a chyfathrebu.

My role of Chair included steering strategy and coordinating the work of our office staff and the other directors on our council, as well as, of course, chairing council meetings, AGMs and other meetings as necessary. During my tenure, I oversaw the successful introduction of a new membership structure and instigated a new strategy direction, starting the Society off on a route working towards chartership status.Yn fy rôl fel Cadeirydd, roeddwn yn gyfrifol am strategaethau a dros lywio gwaith y Gymdeithas, yr un ar ddeg o gyfarwyddwyr a phedwar gweithiwr cyflogedig. I am very proud to have served as part of the governing council for the Society for Editors and Proofreaders. My responsibilities as Vice Chair included strategy and personnel, and I also supported the work of the Chair.Rwyf yn falch iawn fy mod wedi bod yn rhan o bwyllgor llywodraethu’r SfEP. Fel Is-gadeirydd, roeddwn yn gyfrifol am strategaethau a rheoli pobl, ynghyd â chefnogi gwaith y Cadeirydd.

My role was to help our members in their continuing professional development, advising on training and other development opportunities, as well as helping members to improve their professional profile by upgrading within the Society's membership structure. I also arranged successful specialist development events and regularly led sessions at our annual conference.Yn rhinwedd fy swydd, roeddwn yn gyfrifol am roi cymorth i’n haelodau yn eu datblygiad proffesiynol parhaus.
