As an intern at the Permanent Mission of Finland in Geneva, I focused on issues related to humanitarian relief and migration and represented the MFA in the meetings of various organizations such as UNHCR, IOM, OCHA, ICRC, and IFRC. My main duties involved reporting to the relevant departments within the MFA and gathering background information. In addition, I assisted officers with various other tasks, e.g. supported the preparation of high-level visits and meetings.
