Sioux City, Iowa Area

After one year as the Reference Librarian, I stepped into this new position and helped usher in a 500+ iPad deployment to faculty and freshmen. My new role ties in closely with Briar Cliff's strategic plan to become "the innovative place for living, learning and working." My contribution is training students, staff, and faculty to use new tools, find creative solutions, and be more productive.

Sioux City, Iowa Area

Bringing my enthusiasm and curiosity about all things new into the wonderful Bishop Mueller Library, I jumped into the position with both feet. In my first few months, we started using WorldCat Local as our OPAC, created a technology discussion group for faculty, established an iPad loaning program, and explored some exciting new digital services for our patrons. In the Spring, I led an iPad Pilot Program with 30 faculty members.

Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Area

I worked heavily on updating the department's website and preparing it for a new content management system. I also created promotional materials for library events and programs, as well as assisting library visitors with bibliographic databases and library resources. I worked with the subject librarian for German by placing orders for new materials and organizing collection development information.

Corvallis, Oregon Area
