Creativity, the power of allowing ourselves to 'play' with words, images, ideas, possibilities - this is what I like to encourage because I think it's missing from our high-pressure, online, materialistic, demanding world. Broken Silences is the first collection in an art and words collaboration between London-based Greek artist Nikolaos Tzoumas and Buckinghamshire-based writer Sara Ridgley. These sensitive and intuitive works explore relationships and memories, the 'other half of the coin', the unsaid, the two sides to the story.

Creation, typesetting, publishing, marketing and distribution, with West End Musical Director, Gavin Mole, of a range of musicals for children and vocal warm-up CDs for adult singers and younger voices. Lyric writing, educational research, working with designers, wholesalers, retailers, schools, and the public to move our music around the world. Music theatre consultancy work for Stagecoach Theatre Arts plc.

I hand-dye silk scarves (in the microwave!); create crocheted wire and bead jewellery; use my crayon, acrylic and watercolour artwork and photographs to make cards; design completely bonkers hats (my Hattitude range) from cotton yarn, silk, ribbon and wool and produce aromatic, luxurious soaps made with organic olive oil, herbs, spices, flowers and essential oils (my Saponi, the Greek for soap, range). I can be found at craft fairs and country shows in the south of England. I taught adults to unlock their creativity through writing. Motivation, inspiration, enthusiasm and application in the development of a writing habit was what I aimed to help my students achieve en route to publishing success.
