Directs the development, maintenance and support of in-house HP software products and the automation of manual practices within the DWP account.Oversees the security, compilation, delivery, installation and audit of application and infrastructure code for all strategy projects and the distribution of strategy codesfiles, PXS definitions and other TP deliverables.Directly responsible for VME technical and project related financial escalations. As a subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring appropriate technical options are selected, risks are identified and mitigated, the requisite internal and external capabilities are engaged, delivery occurs to schedule and to ensure revenue into the account is realised.Devises rolling cross-training initiatives across multiple technical capabilities, to assist in the elimination of single points of fail, to implement succession plans or as a result of workforce reduction. Provides one-to-one training and mentorship.Monitors VME mainframe usage levels, to ensure resources are utilised conscientiously by the user community, thus ensuring the client’s expectations are managed appropriately.Personally delivers 24*7 on-call support for Production service deployments to the VME estate.
