The research was focused on the removal of pesticides from drinking water (specifically metaldehyde) by using Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) and flotation. In addition, floc formation was studied under different conditions. It was one of the aims of this work to determine the PAC particle and coagulant interaction to understand how effectively the PAC is trapped in the floc and removed from the water as well as understanding the overall pesticide removal.The main instruments used for the research are: Jar tester, Electronic Microscope, Zeta Sizer, Master Sizer, LC-MS Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer, TOC analyzer, Turbidimiter, pH meter, Jar tester, LC-MS, Z Potential, TOC, Spectometer,
