Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a music teacher in the public school system. I wanted to instill a love of music and lifelong learning in my students, as my teachers had done for me. The five years I spent as a middle school teacher were eye opening, not only because of the experiences I had with my students, but because of what I learned about myself. I am an excellent teacher: organized, efficient and confident. I am dedicated and passionate. I am intelligent and an avid learner. Most importantly, I am bold enough to follow my dreams and encourage others to do the same.I am currently the HR and Programs Director at YESS Institute in Denver, Colorado. My zeal for education has transferred brilliantly into my work as a manager and coach for my staff.
