Interning in the global brand initiatives department, I interfaced with the content marketing team as well as the strategic charitable initiatives team. Most of my work revolved around large-scale events such as BeautyCon NYC, The Fashion Footwear Association of New York Gala presented by QVC, and all movie integrations with QVC. Through these initiatives, I was able to utilize and develop skills in event-planning and management, as well as visual merchandising and inventory planning. In addition to events, I handled merchandising for q-sessions.com, QVC's digital music download service. Working together with Neurotic Media, I ensured that all new releases are properly advertised and displayed on the webpage. Finally, I gained experience working on live shows through working on all broadcasts pertaining to movie tie-ins, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and The Peanuts Movie.

In this position, I was able to use my event-planning and time management skills to assist in planning for Partners in Giving, QVC’s PRSA Silver Anvil Award-winning workplace giving campaign. My superior communication skills helped me to recruit 98 captains from all departments and teams across the organization and handle all communication with captains, and my critical thinking skills allowed me to choose creative incentive prizes within an assigned budget to encourage participation. I efficiently and independently processed charitable product and monetary donation requests in a volume of up to fifty each day, and used strong organizational skills to manage large Access databases of donation information. Finally, I managed volunteers and reporting for the QGarden community garden.
