Engaging, consulting and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders, including affected communities, the project seeks to understand and build upon community strengths in an effort to provide effective and appropriate service responses and supports. Community based peer educators will be engaged to co-design and co-implement the capacity building program, facilitating a local understanding of the issues impacting communities. Key Victorian service providers will be identified and supported to identify possible forced marriage cases, understand the law in relation to FM and refer survivors safely and appropriately.
