As a passionate individual studying Public Health at Central Michigan University, I aim to share new ideas and promote health equity through health education. In my studies, I’ve tackled all sides of public health including epidemiology, environmental health, program implementation, and more. My background is in local public health, working at the Genesee County Health Department in both our COVID-19 and Healthy Start programs. Currently, I am a Community Health Liaison in Healthy Start, a maternal child health initiative in Genesee County.I’ve learned crucial skills throughout my professional career so far, including case investigation, contact tracing, community outreach, social media creation, and more.I’d love to propel my career forward with an entry-level public health position as I continue my education.
