CurrentMy practice spans the areas of advertising/marketing, promotions, technology and brand protection, including the following representative experience:• Advising publishers and advertisers on compliance and legal issues affecting the media space, including issues unique to retail media publishers• Assisting clients in the execution of international programs and promotions, including worldwide multimillion dollar grant programs and hackathons• Negotiating agreements for high value sponsorship properties, including NBA, NFL, MLB and MLS teams• Advising clients regarding promotion execution, including drafting sweepstakes, contest and complex loyalty and incentive program rules and terms• Representing clients before the National Advertising Division and assisting clients with inquiries from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state regulators• Advising on FTC compliance obligations and related claim substantiation, including “Made in the USA” claims, use of endorsements and testimonials, and environmental “green” claims• Advising clients on all aspects of trademark clearance, protection, maintenance and licensing• Counseling clients on third party rights issues and related licensing• Drafting and negotiating agency/client agreements, talent and influencer agreements, strategic partnership and product integration agreements, and affiliate marketing agreements, as well as vendor agreements, music licenses and non-disclosure agreements• Advising clients regarding applicable state and Federal laws and regulations, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, COPPA and the Lanham Act
