As one of the founders of the in-house financing program at NetJets, my primary role focuses on leading the strategy, direction, objectives, operations, and program development of the in-house Aircraft Financing Program. I am responsible for deal structuring, pricing, underwriting, client negotiation, and closing of multi-million-dollar whole and fractional aircraft transactions for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and Fortune 500 companies. Our program’s focus is to support increased overall company sales through strategic installment financing. In this position, I develop and lead ongoing aviation financing product training for over 150 internal partners and create quarterly departmental sales and operational goals and objectives. I am responsible for coaching and managing the financing product sales performance of 90 sales executives and supporting ongoing aircraft financing product creation, development, risk, and performance analysis. Building relationships with customers and prospects of NetJets, QS Partners, and Executive Jet Management to ensure a seamless experience for the Financing Program is a key objective of mine. As a subject matter expert, I provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to teams and partners at a high technical level. My scope includes creation, editing, and distribution of marketing collateral, website content, legal documentation, along with the internal credit policy, risk ratings, and complex intercompany profitability model. Daily, I prepare comprehensive credit summaries to address all material aspects of individual credit requests including financial analysis, market and economic trends, forecasts, sales goals, and interest rate benchmark adjustments. My partner and I oversee all loan approvals and denials and I act as a senior advisor to SVP, Sales Executives on complex aircraft purchases and tax/depreciation benefit analysis.
