As the Media Operations lead, I oversee quality assurance, operational efficiency, and strategic management of the media department. I'm a professional enabler, creating and optimizing processes, systems, and tools to ensure the successful delivery of client deliverables and team performance. I work to foster collaboration across various departments, locations and disciplines within the agency.

Department Zero is the brand activation agency that helps client partners build and educate new audiences, promote their products and create bonds with consumers through innovative promotional events, social media campaigns and grassroots guerrilla marketing tactics. As President, Sara leads strategy and ROI analytics for all client programs, ensuring that experiential activations deliver to every brand's goals. Internally, Sara is directly responsible for all company financial and operational duties, from HR to accounting, balancing and planning P&L for all divisions, overseeing legal, insurance, and management policies.

Pepper was the internal staffing division of Department Zero, tactically executing campaigns for consumer and B2B brands, advertising, marketing and PR agencies, trade shows, conferences, fairs, festivals, consumer event organizers and corporate event planners. Providing experienced spokesmodels, brand ambassadors, product specialists, hospitality hosts, street teams, samplers, event managers, touring staff, drivers and production pros, Pepper hired staff as both W-2 status employees and 1099 freelancers. The Pepper process included recruiting, screening, background checks, onboarding and managing hired staff, as well as processing payroll and issuing all necessary tax forms.

As Social Media Chair, I established the club’s first social media strategy and curated site content. In year two spearheaded the relocation of the club to the current office. During my last term year, as VP of Membership, my committee rolled out a comprehensive change to the corporate membership structure, enabling all corporate agency members’ employees to participate with the organization, which almost doubled our membership base.
