➢ Designing & drafting of Electrical Power & Lighting circuits as per DEWA, ADDC, SEWA regulations & Standards. ➢ Scrutinizing the Tender /IFC drawing, Preparing BOQ, Intervene with supplier and Specialized Subcontractors. ➢ Study/Review of tender documents, Scope of work, Tender Drawings, BOQ, Specification and Client Requirement for proper estimating works. ➢ Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawing, specification and BOQ. ➢ Quantity take off and coordinating with other quantity surveyors. ➢ Prioritize RFQ’s that require more time to get Quotation and Major cost items. ➢ Prepare and send RFQ’s for all items to approved Suppliers or Equivalent suppliers or Sub Contractors to obtain required Quotation. ➢ Follow up with Supplier/Contractor to get quotation in time, clarify all their queries and arrange meeting when required. ➢ Technical Evaluation of supplier/Sub Contractor Quotation as per tender requirements. ➢ Pricing Material and labor cost for each BOQ item in price comparison sheets by using Quotations and pre-determined man power production rates. ➢ Preparing price comparison sheet for each system and final cost Summary. ➢ Preparing BOQ unit prices as per Tender BOQ format.➢ Check all the addendums and Communication received from client and will make sure all has been in cooperated. ➢ Preparation of qualification, assumptions and Exclusions if any. ➢ Preparation of Value Engineering whenever required or permitted. ➢ Attend Pre Tender Meeting and Site Visit. ➢ Assist to estimator and Quantity Surveyors. ➢ Responsible for Maintaining and implementing quality management system for Estimation work.
