• Exclusively catering to the requirements of STI’s key account - McDonald’s chain of restaurants in the Middle East.• Since the client’s goods are perishable, every action taken has a time constraint which is non-negotiable• Liaising in a prompt and timely basis with the suppliers of the client from all over the world.• Ensuring a first class client experience by providing accurate and prompt updates.• The role also involves working side by side with the McDonald’s inventory team to provide value added services.• The role involves a start to end coordination, which begins at the order placement level all the way till cargo reaches the destination.• The role requires a high level of convincing power with all subsidiaries such as shipping lines, freight forwarders and transporters in order to ensure maximum benefits for the company• Weekly reports to the McDonald’s supply chain team through face-to-face meetings, con-calls and presentations• Closely working with all the departments in the organization in order to ensure complete customer satisfaction.• Value additions to the role by providing concise information to the clients in order to minimize the rebound rate.• Work in a backward manner i.e., take inputs and suggestion from clients and streamline operations to meet those.

• To plan and execute import shipments and to ensure that all import & clearance operations run efficiently through application of ocean freight import processes.• Organize shipment operations as per specific requirements.• Check with carrier/Co-loader about actual arrival date ofshipment, and send arrival notice to customers as per SOP.• Release shipping documents to customer.• Receive pre-alerts from overseas and ensure that required documents are complete in the file.• Check carrier and vendors’ invoice for correct charges as per rate agreement.• Provide back up for documentation problems with carriers, vendors, customers as well as internal parties.• Arranging Delivery orders by coordinating with shipping lines.• Delivering shipments to the customers by coordinating with the transport team.• Reporting to the higher management the performance of the team, preparing the strategic reports.
