• Co-ordinate with vendors for RFQ & New product development• Provide optimized Costing of Moulds & Parts• Negotiation/discussion with vendors including all commercial activities.• Accountable for mold designing and developing of electrical components, house appliance, and engineering plastics with UG NX12, AUTO-CAD.• Cavity planning, cycle time and machine selection for new articles.• Experience in Two plate,3 plate, Reverse • Analyzing the injection mold designs.• Designing injection molds and tooling components like EDM electrodes, fixtures and engineering changes • Interacts with vendors on daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies• Meetings with customer for understanding the requirements.• Performing a wide range of activities like designing/developing/modifying the new/existing products of tooling feasibility as per injection molds & molding • Effectively preparing the part drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) • Monitor & report Mould Making process• Trials management• Report & highlight important updates to the Director.Responsibilities :-• RFQ Management• Mould desing and costing• Machine selection and cycle time estimation. • Negotiations / Cost finalization for Tool cost.• Supplier identification, screening, evaluation and selection.

• Design and develop plastic parts, molds and molding processes. Plastic product designers analyze and interpret data and create new product designs• Working with customers to determine needs and requirements, such as material specifications, product details, and production schedules• Design plastics or injection-mold fabrication processes also Develop 2D & 3D solid mold designs.• Designing molds that can produce a high volume of products while minimizing material usage and production times

• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.• Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements. • Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.• Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues , Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
