 Design ownership of Tata Motors’ electric, hybrid and fuel cell vehicle powertrain thermal systems. Model based systems engineering and development of multiple passenger electric vehicle thermal systems, comprising both heating and cooling of powertrain, battery, and cabin systems. Engineered and validated Nexon EV, Tigor EV thermal systems and components (Coolant pump, Fan modules, Heat exchanger, E-Compressor & PTC Heater). Derived validation plan for electric vehicle powertrain thermal systems and thermal robustness. Developed control strategy to adapt electronically controlled vacuum assist brake solution for passenger EV vehicle platforms. Matlab-Simulink based System engineering and sizing of passenger electrical vehicle powertrains. Developed scalable and modular electric powertrain architecture for passenger vehicle platforms. Coordinated vehicle architecture, system engineering and electrical teams in the design and sizing of the powertrain to meet the vehicle performance attributes. Orchestrated design teams and other internal stakeholders in the selection, development, and validation of powertrain components with suppliers. Reviewed DFMEAs and DVPs for electric powertrain, thermal system, and its components. Homologated Nexon EV for AIS039 (Energy efficiency), AIS040 (Range), AIS041 (Peak & rated power). Homologated Nexon EV as per Indian crash standards viz. AIS096, AIS098 and AIS099.

 Integration and commissioning of high voltage powertrain for Starbus Electric 12m and 9m buses. Validation and design release of Starbus Hybrid bus powertrain and traction battery cooling systems. DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) of hybrid bus high voltage powertrain and thermal management system.  Sizing and development of powertrain and battery cooling systems for series hybrid, electric and fuel cell bus platforms. Integration and testing of auxiliary system for hybrid and electric bus platforms. Development of plant model of cooling system and commissioning of test rigs for the in house development and testing of power electronic components, electrical machines and battery packs. 1D modelling of coolant based battery cooling system with refrigerant in primary circuit. Structural analysis of AC and DC junction/distribution units for hybrid and electric bus powertrain applications.
