• Initial runs are made for each Homologation load cases. Injury Biomechanics, Dummy Kinematics, Airbag deployments and femur tibia load targets are checked as 1st evaluation. In case of abnormalities changes are made.
• From the initial test results the model is tuned to get expected test results. Main Parameters adjusted are firing strategies,1. Airbag TTF, position and stiffness for Head and Neck Injuries 2. Seat belt TTF and load.
• The Simulation models are validated by correlating the Sled test performed for Homologation load cases.
• To reach better performance targets, Design changes and optimizations are made in Airbags flat bag shapes. It helps in better coupling and reduce Injury results and better kinematics.
• Static and Dynamic and Linear Impactor tests are done on Airbags and are checked for Volume output, deployment, skewing, bouncing and interaction with interiors.
