To be totally honest (and not to brag), but my job is pretty awesome. There’s a lot more involved than can be summarized in a few paragraphs, but the big picture is that our client-partner has ultimately entrusted me with helping oversee and support the global medical claims and product liability portions of their business.So what does this mean? Essentially, I'm accountable for ensuring all property damage, unusual/high risk/sensitive situations, safety and medical contacts/claims, and reporting requirements for all countries where our client’s products are sold are met, handled and/or managed correctly. I directly mentor and support a team of six, while also working closely with our client’s other global vendors (located across NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Japan) and local country offices. My purpose is to help mitigate risk to their company while also helping to ensure we deliver on their vision for all consumer contacts to be handled consistently and fairly, regardless of where in the world the consumer is located.

For maybe the first time ever, I found myself appreciating the value of working for an awesome company in support of a fantastic client. Since those days on the phone, I've equally enjoyed supporting our client and their consumers in other ways; be it as a member of the Escalations team (managing unique, sensitive and high-risk contacts/claims), as Operations Analyst (forecasting, scheduling, reporting and invoices – oh my!), as Escalation Team Leader (guiding, supporting and overseeing an awesome global team of Sr. Reps who make up the Escalations Team), or on my current role as Global Medical Claims Manager.In my current role, I have the privilege of working closely with our client. On their behalf, I manage Global Medical Claims throughout North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Japan, while helping ensure appropriate reporting to meet compliance requirements. I greatly enjoy what I do and don't take lightly that our client has entrusted me to work directly with key stakeholders within their corporate office (like Global Public Affairs, Legal, Global Safety and Regulatory Affairs, and Toxicology), and in a consulting and guiding capacity with their other care teams and local offices across the globe.
