Planner And Estimator
Current• Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget estimates.• Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements and specifications to create accurate cost estimates and timelines.• Utilize industry-standard software (RSMeans) and tools to perform quantity takeoffs, cost calculations, and resource allocation.• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to gather essential project information.• Evaluate potential risks and opportunities for cost savings, presenting findings to management for informed decision-making.• Monitor and update project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones throughout all project phases.• Review and interpret design documents, blueprints, and technical drawings to inform accurate estimations.• Prepare detailed bid proposals and participate in proposal presentations to potential clients.• Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and adjust plans accordingly.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve estimation accuracy.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and optimize project plans for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.• Provide ongoing communication and reporting to project managers and stakeholders regarding project status and changes.
