I have briefly worked on the heterocyclic-based fluorescent molecules (60 derivatives) via one-pot multi component reaction using inexpensive catalyst as well as multi-step reaction of dicyanovinyl attached phenanthridine fluorescent probes during the course of Ph.D. I have investigated photophysical properties, electrochemical experiments and chemosensor studies. Furthermore, I have identified the binding affinities and selectivity of these fluorescent probes with corresponding to the analytes using optical methods. Moreover, I have also tried to explore the application in biological, low-cost visual detection in test paper strips for their fluorescent probes. I have used various techniques for characterization and analysis purpose such as molecular structure determination by Single-crystal X-ray diffraction, NMR, HRMS, FTIR, Elemental analysis, Cyclic Voltammetry, UV-vis absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy and fluorescence lifetime measurements technique. Specifically, I have published four new crystal structures. Instrumentation and Software Skills: I have learned the photophysical measurements including the UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy, kinetics, and fluorescence microscopic instruments, particle size analyzer, polarimeter, colorimeter and HPLC. I am also familiar with software that is necessary for the determination of the structure of the metal complexes, characterization of new organic materials, and data analysis such as Topspin, Gaussian 09 software, ChemDraw, Mercury, and Origin 8.0 software. Research Strength: I have an experience in the designing of new probes, analyze new data, and draw graphics, writing the research article, projects and research proposals flawlessly. From my Ph.D., I got five first author papers and I have also co-authored four papers and other two papers are submitted in peer-reviewed international journal. The remaining five research articles are under preparation. Additionally, I have guided five students for their short term (six month) dissertation. Apart from my bench work, I was extensively involved in other lab duties such as B.Tech and M.Sc Chemistry Laboratory for their practical experiments. Thus, during my PhD, I have got significant experience in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, optical properties, electrochemistry and chemosensors as well as communication and leadership skills.
