Current๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ & ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ : - Lead development efforts for an array of commodities such as Sheet metals, Forgings, Castings, Gears, turning, pipes, Electrical & Proprietary. - Involve suppliers in the development phase to optimize part design, ensuring the highest quality at the most competitive cost.๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ & ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ: - Conduct thorough price negotiations for both part and tooling costs across proto & production phases. - Evaluate supplier proposals to recommend and implement cost savings and avoidance strategies. - Benchmark and identify saving potentials through VA/VE and design improvements.๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ & ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ: - Oversee the complete purchasing lifecycle: from supplier selection, RFI, RFQ, to contract negotiations and order release. - Monitor and evaluate supplier KPIs to ensure adherence to quality, price, delivery, and specification standards. - Foster relationships with new vendors in low-cost regions to derive commercial benefits and enhance quality.๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ-๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: - Collaborate with engineering, supplier industrialization, quality, production, program, and related functional groups to ensure integrated operations. - Support the engineering department in component selection and make-or-buy decisions.Inventory & ERP Management: - Maintain optimum inventory levels to cater to production needs.๐๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ & ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ:- Lead and mentor a team of 3, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and productivity.- Prioritize team's tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of projects.
