In my role at EPAM, an integral part of an internal Research & Development project focused on leveraging Gen-AI to streamline various aspects of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The project aimed to automate key STLC use cases, such as generating test cases from requirements and creating automation scripts from manual test cases, all while adhering to custom framework standards and guidelines. This initiative was designed to enhance both efficiency and accuracy in software testing processesMy responsibilities within this project included1. Utilizing Prompt Engineering techniques to fine-tune prompts for the aforementioned use-cases. Employed the AI Code plugin to develop automation scripts using ICL in prompts2. Creating a RAG pipeline to index automation framework artifacts such as code and framework documentation. This involved building a Python tool to generate documentation for the automation framework code at the method level, using open-source LLMs like llama3 via ollama3. Developing an agent to handle tasks requiring reasoning capabilities, such as understanding the automation framework. The agent utilized the RAG tool to gain a deeper understanding of the framework

Being an automation architect, responsible for the following such as:1. Development of Automation strategy of various Application Under Test (AUT) and choosing the right set of automation tools to cover most of the functionalities of AUT.2. Feasibility to cover end-to-end functional use-cases when the AUTs span across different kinds of apps such as GUI, web, services...etc. 3. Collaborating with automation engineers/leads ensuring the test automation process such as scripting guidelines, building reusable assets, script review and meeting scripting productivity...etc.4. Built tools agnostic automation framework using TestNG supporting for web apps (using Selenium), GUI support (using RAFT), Services (using open-source api libs) testing. 1. Framework of choice for all the app owners from the client. 2. ~ 3500 tests developed using this framework, across apps (Web/GUI/DB/Services) ran in CICD pipeline everyday.5. Mentoring team on new technologies, Streamlining the technical assessment, Quick enablement of new joiners by training them with practical tests and make them to billable opportunities.

At the beginning of my professional journey in the IT industry, I supported test engineers by creating several automation frameworks to test the features and capabilities of handheld devices. This involved helping them run automated scripts efficiently.1. Design and developed Digital Rights Management (DRM) Test server to create protected contents for Forward lock, Combined Delivery & Super Distribution as per the OMA specification for mobile phones.2. Owned Customer's proprietary automation framework for Symbian OS. It was based on Keyword driven automation framework, responsible to create/maintain the keyword implementation, error recovery scenarios, Phone Crash detector...etc.3. ~1200 functional tests run using this automation framework on each release in 4 man-days.4. Design and development of Web automation framework using Selenium and done various POCs as part of customer pilots.
