Transaction Manager does online deduction from credit and debit card holders of Citi Bank against purchase at Sify Mall (Sify’s E-commerce site). Inputs from both the sides (Sify Mall and Citi Bank) are collected in respective Servlets and it communicates to server through set of protocol. Multithreading is implemented in server and a separate thread is for cleanup of dead objects. It supports both moto merchant (collects card details and submits to citi bank) and SSL merchants (redirects to citi bank URL).
