Knowledge in reading mechanical drawings.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Oversee and manage Assembly department operation. • Review production drawings and complete assembly and other process accordingly. • Maintaining the quality records, assembly times, incidents, periodic inspections. • Preparing the BOM, work instructions, process flow chart, and check list. • Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals. • Ensuring the execution of production process as per plan given by PPC and within budget. • Identify unsafe operations and reduce the risk level in the operation. • Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. • Select the proper process, Tools, and troubleshooting the problems. • Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment & material to maximize production. • Reduce the lead time of assemblies by removing the non-value tasks. • Implementing 5S and kaizen to improve production and safety. • Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. • Coordinated with QC for Raw material inspection, stage inspection & final inspection. • Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions. • Maintain and prepare documents related to ISO audits.KEY SKILLS:• Experienced in assembly process of various types of wind and Steam turbines & Control valves. • Knowledge in requirements of tools for the production. • Maintenance of shop floor equipment & instruments calibration. • Experience in prototypes components. • Effective utilization of Man, Machine, and Materials. • Hand of experience in development and modification.• Experienced in measuring instruments handling. • Experience in JSA for handling and tilting of jobs up to 500Ton. • Knowledge of handling of hydraulic torque tool & pneumatic tools. • Experience in driving of battery operated pallet truck (BOPT) – stackers & scissor lifters • Conversant with wind turbine nacelle, hub, and control panels- assembly.
