Responsibilities include:• Timetable planning, developing consist plan and stabling diagrams, crewing and scheduling train services• Implement and coordinate assigned agency programs, projects, systems, policy development processes and services by providing support related to planning, change and improvement functions• Planning and scheduling services that may be affected by line/track closures for project maintenance or upgrade work by producing modified timetables aimed at giving members of the public the most efficient travel options possible• Ensuring train services are properly resourced with train crew, including a Driver and a Passenger Service Assistant• Identifying potential problems such as disruptions to services in the rail network and coming up with solutions to fix them• Undertake critical, sensitive and/or complex information, consultation and/or negotiation processes with internal and external stakeholders and across government agencies• Contribute to a safe, diverse and healthy work environment free from discrimination and harassment by working in accordance with legislative requirements, the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public Sector, equal employment opportunity and departmental human resource policies, including Work Health Safety and Wellbeing requirements• Contribute to a high standard of customer service for internal and external clients, quality management and risk• Contributing to a safe work environment by following Work Health Safety and Wellbeing requirements that are consistent with Department objectives

Responsibilities include:• Providing high level research/analysis and information that will assist in the development of assigned agency programs, projects, policy development and services• Undertaking critical, sensitive and complex information, consultation and negotiation processes with stakeholders and across government agencies• Preparing reports and recommendations on matters of some complexity, confidentiality and sensitivity• Collect, interpret and analyse results based on the public transport patronage data across the Adelaide transport network• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets and reporting the results back to the relevant internal and external stakeholders• Resolve complex issues with innovative solutions by developing and selecting new techniques and methodologies appropriate to the discipline and agency• Coordinate investigations and prepare reports and recommendations on matters of complexity and confidentiality/sensitivity• Liaise with local councils and other external stakeholders regarding issues to the bus stops infrastructure (such as bus shelters and information units) and getting them fixed• Coordinate and implement the transport plan after special events such as concerts and sporting events• Liaise with external project companies regarding road infrastructure projects and support them/implement changes to bus stops that are along the infrastructure project corridor
