It starts with each individual and it drives me every day with endless energy and passion.After starting my career in communications, shifting into HR and agency/business management, then building my coaching and leadership development business, I've found my sweet spot at the intersection of strategy, culture, internal communications and people (HR). With At The Start, I've built a consultancy designed to support leaders, managers, early career professionals, young adults and youth in developing skills, making decisions and communicating. I also help organizations harness the power of people through communications and coaching. My purpose and goal is to make sure every person and team I work with is able to identify and pursue opportunities, and to accomplish their goals with confidence and resilience.The agency world was my home for 25 years, most recently as a founding partner and Chief People Officer of Hot Paper Lantern, an interdisciplinary marketing communications agency. In that role, I led the talent management and human resources function, and built the organization's employee engagement and internal communications business.
