Nexxt Mission is a software consulting firm dedicated to helping startups improve their engineering practices. Our aim is to help them transform their ideas into functional, ready-to-launch products within just a few weeks. To further this mission, we've developed Functions.Store, a marketplace for Google Cloud Functions designed to accelerate the launch and growth of web apps. This reusable internal tool embodies our commitment to building products faster through reusability. My roles have varied, from handling key client accounts and refining our PMO practices for better efficiency to ensuring prototypes seamlessly transition to production. A significant part of my role has been building a dedicated team with great technical skills, all geared towards supporting startups. I've also been active in our marketing initiatives, developing strategies to bolster our brand's presence.

I founded Nexxtway alongside a group of incredibly talented close friends, Nexxtway stands not just as a startup but as an incubator for the creation of innovative products. As a founder, my journey with Nexxtway has been nothing short of transformative. From spearheading marketing campaigns, navigating legal intricacies, managing vendor relationships, to ensuring top-notch quality assurance, my diverse roles have allowed me to wear multiple hats and contribute significantly to our collective vision. Over the years, our endeavors have resulted in the birth of several groundbreaking projects, each reflecting our commitment to innovation and problem-solving.React Component Library: Serving as the bedrock for all subsequent projects, this library not only accelerated product development but also enhanced the visual appeal of our user interfaces. Its versatility extends to Figma integration. Its reception in the tech community clinched the coveted #1 spot on Product Hunt on its launch day, with over 1,500 stars on GitHub and a consistent 4,000 weekly downloads.Ponlaya: Addressing the unique needs of the Cuban diaspora, Ponlaya facilitates the sending of phone data minutes to loved ones back in Cuba. The app quickly amassed 500 users within the initial three months and facilitated over 2,000 top-ups.Paquete.io: Incorporating OCR technology, Paquete.io addresses the inefficiencies that residential buildings often face with package management.Scheduler: Tailored to the nuanced needs of elder healthcare, Scheduler stands out with its feature that schedules transport for elderly patients, ensuring they reach their medical appointments with ease. It integrates appointment scheduling, patient data management, and direct communication channels.

* Facilitate Scrum process for 4 teams (Mobile and Web).* Assist team in making appropriate commitments through story selection, sizing, task definition and participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.* Coach QA team on creating Test Plan documents and make sure they are signed off before release. * Manage Agile Train Release (ATR) process which helped establish a release cadence “Continuous Delivery”. * Assume accountability for the project and its delivery* Identifying risks early to avoid scope creep.* Maintain status and metrics information and coach team on how to read them. * Coach the Product owner on applying practices as MoSCoW prioritization and INVEST criteria for writing user stories.* Removed obstacles for the teams by escalating an issue to leadership resulting in early delivery of customer issue solution.

* Coach and mentor teams to identify efficiencies to improve the ability to release quality products early and often. * Introduced Agile Methodology /Scrum as a powerful framework and highlight its advantages versus Waterfall.* Identified potential project risks and helped developed a mitigation plan to resolve potential issues. * Ensure the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility. * Guided projects to completion on time, within scope, and on budget.

* Developed QA process by using test management tools and techniques.* Conducted tests and prepared reports for future reference.* Created bug reports by coordinating with software testers and developers.* Supported Senior QA analyst manual tester in the development and execution of QA continuous process.* Performed first level system testing by coordinating with QA team and business analyst.* Handled responsibilities of load and regression testing to ensure efficiency in product delivery.

* Developed Test Scripts using Functional Requirement Documents. Test scenarios are created for Positive, Negative, Boundary cases, etc. Performed all types of testing on workflows and server software.* Involved in UAT testing in UAT environment, Prepared UAT test cases and testing estimates.* Preparing Functional/Regression Test Cases/Scripts and Review Test Requirements, Creating Test Plans and Test Strategy documents.* Involved in testing the new functionality based on test cases and coordinated with development team in fixing the issues, Defect Management by Logging and Tracking bugs during execution in Test lab.* Ensure that all the test cases are updated in the HP Quality Center/ALM along with Master test plan; generating Matrices Reports and Charts for Defect Analysis to analyze statistical nature of the defects.* Directly Interact with Project Teams, Developers, Business Analysts and Clients for Test requirements, clarifications and Testing.* Provide daily status report, defect matrices, daily updates to lead; Provide daily status report on tasks assigned to the Project Manager.
