•If needed move furniture out of the way, at times to other rooms.•If needed remove the existing floor to the base of the surface.*The majority of the floors from my experience were carpet, very rarely vinyl or wood. With carpet:•Around perimeter of designated area tacklers (thin wooden flat sticks with spikes) were nailed down to base of floor to secure carpet in place.•Next a sub surface foam was stapled and cut as needed to fit measurements of the room. •At times used specialized hot iron to unite carpet ends together.•After installing and securing carpet, tuck excess into border and vacuum as needed.With vinyl:•When reached base surface up to two layers of cement are mixed to cover designated area until dry. •Once cement has dried utilizing a scraper scrape off leftover bumps until surface level is even and smooth so that surface is ready to be glued on.•After gently gluing vinyl, trim excess vinyl around borders. Wood floors:Installed in comparison to a jigsaw puzzle with precise cuts, glue and special machinery. * Same first few steps.**Each type of floor had it's way of perfecting the final look, by trimming excess material, sweeping, or vacuuming.•Lastly we re load tools and machinery, wrap up garbage on to work truck and call it a day, or night.

•Before starting a project a detailed description of the procedure of the day is filled out.•The roof is inspected, safety lines and cones are set up to prevent falls or hazards.•Materials being used would vary depending on roof desired or being repaired. Generally the process is the same, when existing roof we tear off, dispose of remains and clean up to the base of surface. •At the base of roof there's usually a tape like sheet called vaper barrier following up with layers of isolation layered with selected fiberglass. •The final layer of roof ranges the most and is mostly what determines tools being used, my expertise was with a hot air welder used for TPO or PVC type roofing. *Safety is the number one priority in roofing. During the time complied with the company many courses were taken to be competent for a safe work place such as, OSHA, INTEL, Howard S. Wright, Guardian Fall Protection Program, Hoffman, and Andersen Construction.

•Much of the time my position was to open or sub-open shop. Tasks included baking, prepping and pre-prepping veggies.•Janitorial services, ensuring everything is clean and stocked so when customers come in they have the best experience, and satisfaction with the service each time. •When times were chaotic having a positive, friendly can-do attitude was keen in moments of stress.•Keeping track of productivity: handling money,such as the clerk duties, depositing excess money into safe, or knowing when it's time to go or send someone home. *This job required a lot of multitasking, leadership skills, being very fast paced, a great amount of patience.
