In support of FEMA’s mission to help people before, during, and after disasters, I serve as a Joint Information Center (JIC) Manager, as part of the External Affairs cadre. I oversee Media Relations Specialists, Digital Communications teams, and Visual Imagery Specialists, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed from the Joint Field Office, including products and planning support, to communicate effectively across print, television, radio, and online platforms.In this role, I coordinate community communications post-disaster, ensuring timely responses to media inquiries, clear and consistent messaging, and empowering my team to excel in their roles.

Providing services for Marriott Hotels, Benchmark Pyramid Hotels, Elvis Presley Enterprises, as well as non-profit organizations, and online retailers. I have created a full marketing brand for a startup business, doubled online sales for an independent online retailer, as well as created a communications system for online questions for large hotel. On the technical end, I have successfully set up Meta/Facebook business management support and digital marketing campaigns to drive new leads and goal-driven traffic with small and large budget accounts. Serving St. Croix's environment with strategy, marketing, design, and program support for St. Croix's leading environmental organization. Providing public relations, marketing support, and crisis communications plans so the organization can support the community in environmental advocacy, environmental education, and conservation.

Develop creative web copy, blog posts, case studies and other related content to support marketing campaigns. Oversaw budgets, financials, ticket sales and volunteer management.

Event and marketing manager for Candlelight Concert Series, World Music Series and Starving Artist Fairs which included event budgets, event logistics, sponsorships and marketing. With a limited non-profit budget, this is where I learned how to do email marketing and gain exposure for events via social media. I also handled grant writing, fundraising, database management, social media, public speaking and sponsorship.

As a village volunteer, I experienced cross-cultural exploration while also helping small businesses in my remote village. I wrote International grants, assisted with business development, worked in education, started libraries and trained the librarians, and worked with mothers on nutrition and cooking methods.

Fresh out of college, guest service became a part of me while working at Walt Disney World. I attended Disney University and earned my ears. I was initially cast in human resources, where I also had the opportunity to work hourly roles throughout all the parks, opening Animal Kingdom and helping answer calls regarding the brand new Disney Cruise Line. I then became a guest service manager at Typhoon Lagoon, eventually spending ringing in the new millenium at Epcot in outdoor foods.
