Co-founded Hercules Capital as an independent investment manager investing institutional and private client assets in the Indian equity market. The fund used a business owner mindset to identify high quality companies in the public markets and build a concentrated portfolio of 12-15 companies.

Started as a buy-side analyst covering global consumer staples and then moved to Smith Barney Asset Management as co-portfolio manager/analyst covering US consumer staples.

Led marketing efforts in China and helped setup a greenfield compressor manufacturing plant in Suzhou (China). Worked on acquisition and joint venture opportunities in China, Japan, Korea and Thailand.
