I have been a music teacher since 2002 as well as an AMEB examiner (2013 to 2016) and lecturer at Charles Darwin University. I completed my studies in Darwin, N.T. (Bachelor of Music, Honours and Master by Research). I was a playing member with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra (1999 to 2016) on oboe, flute, piccolo, cor anglais (tenor oboe) and bassoon. I traveled to Europe for a Churchill Fellowship to study woodwind instruments of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Other ensembles I have performed with are the Hot and Cold Bigband Darwin, saxophone quartets, Arafura Wind Ensemble, classical guitar trio, Charles Darwin University Chamber Orchestra, the Top End Folk club and bushband Murphy and Friends, Duo Serenata (flute and classical guitar duo), various musicals and plays with pit orchestras in Darwin.
