 Conduct BCP drills on a regular basis for the operations department and document the test results. Responsible for handling Key Account Customers for my site Manifesting Bills of Lading using Hapag-Lloyd’s Global Systems for our customers in US. Communicating through via internal communication systems with the local office & with customers in BENELUX (Belgium & Netherlands) regarding trade and freight related queries. Co-ordination with the Europe management for improving the process, by creating standard operating procedure (SOP) for different ports and customers in Europe. Participation in conference calls with the BENELUX service unit & solving issues and queries related to export documentation. Involved in the track and trace of the Missing Shipping Instructions. Training new joinees on shipping, also to train them on “FIS” System, used by Hapag-Lloyd. Was also involved in having conference calls with the ADC (area documentation centre) regarding queries. Assist my team lead to prepare various KPI reports. Provide hands-on assistance to the team in case of problems, both through direct intervention & mentoring Update Customer Specifications used by the team based on the latest Customer requirements Review the feedback received from Service Units & analyzing the errors  Tracking the Missing Shipping Instructions as per the AMS/ACI deadlines & ensuring that the deadlines are met Monitor Pending Resolution Folders & clearing all critical queries Train users in preparing Bills of Lading for US military cargo shipments and trans-shipments Train for New Users in Lynx (Lynx is used by CP Ships for its business workflow) Supervise the work done by the Document Agents & ensuring free flow of the assignments  Update the snapshots for shifts Prepare and present daily MIS reports to the Management in Review Meetings
