As part of DevOps team, I look after DevOps activity like release and configuration ofproduct, managing the private cloud infrastructure and customer interaction on productaccessibility.My role included:- Planning and releasing the product to QA, Stage and Production environment,which includes scheduling the release, managing the builds and releasing theproduct.- Client communication for the product release and accessibility of the product.- Providing support to the production environment in case of failure/issue andlater communicating to the concern team or client. Issues could be because of someresources unavailability, security attack, server issue, new functionality, internetoutage, etc.- Managing the cloud infrastructure. Support.Com has self-managed Datacenter,where QA, stage and production environment are setup. We, as a team, have tomake sure all the environment are functioning well and are in proper shape all thetime. Various monitoring have been setup to track this.- Performing DB administrator activity like maintenance of DB, backup,performance check, etc.- Automating the release process using Jenkins to reduce the downtime duringthe release and improving the process. Configured and setup various job usingPowerShell script. Scripts were written to copy the release artifact, configure theapplication, perform restart of services & application. Few of the script were preparedto query database and use the result for different purpose.- For monitoring and managing the infrastructure, various scripts are prepared using.Net, PHP, PowerShell, windows batch file, Bash, etc.2 of the major project/work done by me:DataCenter MigrationSQL server upgradation

Several tasks that are related to the productsalso need to be automated on the server so that user need not configure themmanually.- As per the requirement, script should be written in .Net, PHP, wmi, batch file, etc.
